Choir III Chamber
Grades 9-12
Mondays: 7:00 pm - 9:15 pm
at Scarborough Bluffs United Church from September through May
Prerequisites: Must audition prior to entry, including current Choir III singers, unless exempted by conductor. Must demonstrate exceptional commitment, team-oriented mentality, leadership capabilities, excellent sight-singing facility and vocal flexibility.
Performances: In addition to the performance schedule of Choir III, Chamber Choir also sings at additional chamber music concerts and events including competitions, workshops and private and corporate events.
Program description: Choir III Chamber is the pinnacle treble ensemble of the award-winning Bach Children's Chorus with a focus on challenging a capella choral music, including premiering new Canadian works. Chamber Choir singers are active participants in Choir III and are expected to take on important leadership roles with Choir II. Chamber Choir is typically involved in various private/corporate special performances throughout the season as well as additional social and rehearsal events such as the annual Chamber Choir Movie Night.
