Kinder Choir

JUNIOR/sENIOR KINDERGARTEN

SUNDAYS: 2:30 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.

at Scarborough Bluffs United Church

Term 1 (Fall): September to December

Term 2 (Winter/Spring): January to May

Prerequisites: None.

Performances: In-rehearsal “Skills Showcase” performances in November and April. Participation in holiday concert in December and spring concert in May.

Program Description: Kinder Choir is a non-auditioned music education program focused on the delight of making music through singing games, musical stories, rhythmic movement activities and vocal repertoire. This exciting program is a stepping stone to the award-winning treble choirs of the Bach Children's Chorus. Participants will receive a wealth of songs and games to enjoy now and in their future. Montessori-style music stations, story-telling, puppets and movement activities are mixed into our programming to help bring the meaning behind the music to life. Our team of expert musician instructors are passionate about helping young people sing with joy, confidence and ease. Subject to enrollment of 15 singers.
