Choir II Assistant Conductor

Jessica is a vocal coach, performer, choral conductor and music educator, based in Toronto and Hong Kong. Currently serving as the Choir II Assistant Conductor for the Bach Children’s Chorus and teaching at Willowdale School of Music, she has over eight years of music teaching experience. She graduated with First Class Honours in Vocal from Hong Kong Baptist University, studying under renowned soprano Ms. Chan Siu Kwan.

As a choral conductor, she has previously worked with chorus from Hong Kong Buddhist Kok Kwong Secondary School and Red Academy. She holds a Kodály Level 1 Certification and has performed with notable ensembles, including the Babel Chorus, Asia Pacific Youth Choir and Cantoria Chamber Choir, and playing the lead role of Joanna in the Off-Broadway musical “Children’s Letter to God” (2021). She has also participated in operatic choruses for productions such as “The Merry Widow,” “L’elisir D’amore,” and “Don Giovanni.”

While studying at the University of Leeds, she was invited to perform as a soprano soloist with the LUUMS Sinfonia and Symphonic Choir. Jessica has received numerous accolades, including the Hong Kong Children Choir Scholarship (2018-19) and the Music Honour Roll 2020: Honours Students Project Award, reflecting her dedication to excellence in music education and performance.
